The Kowloon Methodist Church was built in 1950 – 1951. Designed by Szeto Wai, the religious architecture bears the influence of modern architecture. Built on the retaining wall adjacent to Gascoign Road, the chapel and its distinctvie bell tower built have been the icon of Yau Ma Tei for more than 70 years.
